In this workshop we will go through the steps of taking raw audio and turning it into a finished product ready for publishing. Award winning podcaster Shannon Cason and producer Megan Tan will pull back the curtain and detail the different techniques and approaches they take to creating a podcast including equalization, compression/limiting, editing and mixing. They will touch on what makes a podcast engaging to a listener and some of the pitfalls of rushing through the editing process. After the presentation, Shannon will do a live performance one of his stories.
